Brazilian jiu jitsu is one of the world’s most popular and fastest-growing sports, particularly amongst young people. It teaches children discipline and how to defend themselves while keeping fit and having loads of fun. If your child is just beginning their jiu jitsu journey, it’s important to know that there are two kinds of training: gi, where you wear the traditional martial arts uniform, and no gi, where you wear shorts and a rash guard (or compression top), and maybe a pair of tights. Both are fantastic fun and we stock kids’ gis and kids’ no gi equipment from some of the biggest brands in the sport, including Tatami, Progress and Kingz.   

Consistent training is extremely tough on martial arts clothing, so the modern BJJ gi, and all no gi clothing, must be durable. Our selection of children’s gis are made with the highest quality cotton, using modern cuts and innovative weaves. Our children’s no gi rash guards and shorts are made from sturdy, stretchy fabric, with state-of-the-art stitching so they’ll last and last. We sell IBJJF approved gis and no gi clothing for competition, as well as kids’ belts, leisurewear and kids’ mouth guards, so they can be safe and confident on the mat.
